The Quantum range are the latest hearing aids currently available from Unitron.  They are available in four different styles including BTE (Behind the Ear), ITE (In the Ear) and CIC (Completely in Canal). There is also an RIC (Receiver in Canal) which is known as the Quantum Moxi. The Quantum range is available in 5 technology levels of which the Quantum 6 is the fourth level of the range. You can take a look at the full range of Unitron hearing aids here

Despite being one of the lower level models I the range, the Quantum 6 still has a range of features that have been designed to manage your hearing loss in a variety of environments and situations..

6 Channels

Although this is significantly less than the more advanced models in the Quantum range, your hearing aids can still be programmed to process a range of frequencies. This means that the aids can be set to deal with your particular hearing loss.

                                               

Feedback Manager

                                                                 

This feature reduces feedback to prevent any annoying whistling sounds that could possibly occur.

Wind Noise Manager

This is designed to reduce distortion and ensure you retain hearing clarity even in a windy environment.

                                                           

AntiShock

Sudden loud noises can often cause discomfort so this feature has been added to soften these unexpected sounds and keep your hearing smooth

                                                

Automatic with Smart Focus

This feature allows your hearing aids to detect the changes in your environment and then adjust automatically so your hearing always remains clear and comfortable. The Quantum 6 has 2 programmes within this feature.

Client Control of Smart Focus

This gives the wearer more control over minor adjustments to the hearing aids. With this feature you can manually adjust things like your own fine tuning.

Although this is one of the more basic models in the Quantum range it is still compatible with the range of wireless accessories from Unitron. This can make watching TV or using the phone easier and give you more control over the volume.

                                                                                                                                                                

uDirect 2              

This wireless streamer is used to transmit the sound from your audio devices into your hearing aids. It can be worn around your neck for convenient hands free streaming. This device also has a built in remote control that can be used to adjust the volume or program on your hearing aids.

Utv 2                    

This accessory is connected to your television so the sound can be streamed straight into your hearing aids. When used in conjunction with the uDdirect 2, you can enjoy watching television at a level comfortable for you. This accessory can also be used as a charger for your uDirect 2 streamer.

SmartControl       

This device can be especially useful if you find the small buttons on your hearing aids a bit fiddle. This advanced remote lets you adjust everything from volume and program settings to comfort and clarity levels.

Unitron Remote  

This is the more basic remote control in the Unitron wireless range. It allows easy push button control of the essential functions of the hearing aids like volume and program..
