Which? Magazine, published by the Consumers’ Association, is the primary and most trusted publication for anyone who wants help making informed purchasing decisions. Its impartial reviews are famous for highlighting both the best and worst, across a wide range of products and services.
Which turned it's attention to hearing aid retailers recently in an effort to get a clear picture of customer satisfaction. Which? surveyed over 400 of their own members to ascertain their experiences during the purchase of hearing aids in the UK. The retailers were assessed on their level of service, pricing, the knowledge of their staff, and finally the quality of their testing facilities. It pleases me very much to tell you that local independent hearing healthcare professionals came out top in all areas.
I believe that this result clearly shows the commitment that Independent hearing healthcare professionals have to their customers. I also think that it is a clear recognition that independent professionals have a vast knowledge of the different hearing aids available and give truly impartial advice. This is crucial when it comes to choosing a hearing aid as there are so many different types available.
Independent hearing aid retailers usually would offer outstanding pricing on their hearing aids while still delivering excellent levels of committed customer service. Lower overheads, price setting responsibility and a focus on providing the very best advice means consumers are provided the best solution for their needs. Local Independent professionals do not have huge marketing budgets, they understand the way for them to survive and thrive is through word of mouth referral from happy customers.
